Integrated Hydrocarbon & Specialty Oils Complex
Who We Are
A New-Generation Specialty Oils Platform in Mumbai
A port-linked, five-plant specialty oils manufacturing complex in Mumbai, India — engineered to international standards, fully automated, and built to grow with our partners. Yogayatan Hydrocarbons is building a fully integrated, greenfield hydrocarbon and specialty oils complex at a port-proximate site in Mumbai — India's gateway for base oils and the commercial heart of the country's lubricants industry. The complex combines five process plants, a common radar-gauged tank farm, a pilot / R&D facility and plant-wide SCADA automation on a single site, purpose-designed for long-term manufacturing partnerships with global specialty oil houses.

Strategic Location
On the Port, at the Centre of India's Oil Trade
Direct port access
The site sits in immediate proximity to Mumbai's liquid cargo port infrastructure — imported base oils, waxes and additives can be received directly from vessel to tank, cutting inland haulage, transit losses, handling cost and delays.
India's base oil gateway
Mumbai is the country's leading point of entry for base oil imports, with Mumbai Port Trust and JNPT consistently handling around 75% of national volumes — the deepest, most liquid feedstock market in India is on our doorstep.
Refinery ecosystem
Major refiners including HPCL and BPCL operate large refineries in the Mumbai region, with IOCL and the country's principal oil traders, blenders and marketers all headquartered or active here.
National highway connectivity
The site connects directly to the national highway network, giving fast, reliable despatch of finished goods across western India and to every major consumption centre.
A Waterfront Site on Mumbai's Eastern Harbour
Mankhurd East, Mumbai — on the Sion–Panvel Highway at the Vashi bridgehead (19.057° N, 72.961° E).
Own creek-front jetty (“Yogayatan Ports”) — waterborne cargo can be brought by barge from the harbour and received directly at our shoreline.
Inside Mumbai's established refining, storage and lube-blending belt; the Pir Pau berths are where most of India's imported base oil lands.
Direct highway frontage on the Sion–Panvel corridor, linking to Atal Setu, JNPT and the Mumbai–Pune Expressway network for despatch nationwide.

The Facility
Multiple Plants, One Integrated Complex
Combined nameplate throughput ≈ 42,000 MT per annum on a 300 operating-day basis — plus a common tank farm, pilot / R&D plant, utilities block and unified filling / packing hall.
Above are initially planned quantities with ample room for expansion.
Inside the Complex
How the Complex Works
One Processing Plant with Tank Farm, Many Finished Products
Receive
Base oils, waxes and additives received via land as well as sea into radar-gauged tank-farm tanks.
Blend
Grades metered gravimetrically and homogenised through an inline static mixer and heavy-duty recirculation (hot as well as cold blending).
Distribute
After strict QC and lab testing of each blended batch, blended base oil is routed to all downstream plants through a common heated manifold — consistent feedstock, every batch.
Convert
Jelly, lubricant and white-oil plants convert the feedstock into finished specialty products.
Fill & Despatch
Common drum / IBC / ISO / flexibag and tanker filling with coding and labelling — plus an isolated and segregated clean fill for medical white oil.
A Phased Tank Farm Built to Grow With Our Partners
The site master plan provides for storage capacity of up to 30,000–40,000 MT. We deliberately build in modular phases — commissioning the first tranche now and adding tankage in step with confirmed partner volumes, so capacity always matches real demand and partners are never constrained.
18 tanks (4 × 500, 10 × 250, 4 × 100 MT), every tank radar-gauged; selected tanks heated and insulated for waxes and jellies.
Additional tankage and dedicated partner storage added modularly as committed volumes ramp up.
Land bank secured and future-ready — utilities, manifolds and automation pre-designed for the full footprint.
Terminal-grade features
- Non-contact 80 GHz radar gauging on every tank with independent overfill protection
- Heated, insulated tankage for waxes, jellies and viscous grades
- Coriolis mass-flow metering for custody-grade receipt and transfer
- Nitrogen blanketing available for quality-sensitive products
- Two-header common manifold for flexible tank-to-plant routing
Fill It Your Way: A Dedicated Export Bay

210 L steel and HDPE drums — semi-automatic filling, capping, sealing and coding.
IBC Containers
1,000 L IBCs filled to load-cell accuracy for industrial customers.
ISO Tank Containers
Direct loading of ISO tanks for intercontinental bulk export.
Flexibags
Container-load bulk in flexibags — cost-efficient export of suitable grades.
Road Tankers
Bulk tanker loading with metered, fully documented custody transfer.
Dedicated export bay
- Export-spec packing, palletising and container stuffing to the partner's own standard
- Automated coding, labelling and tamper-evident sealing on every pack
- Segregated clean fill line for medical-grade white oil
- Full batch documentation and traceability accompanying every consignment
Purpose-built and export-focused.
Future-ready: retail & small packs
The modular filling hall is designed to accept a small-pack / retail filling line whenever a partner needs one — for the Indian market or any export market — filled and white-labelled under the partner's own brand. Whatever pack your market needs, this plant will fill it.
A Fully Automated, Fully Traceable Plant
The entire complex runs under a single redundant PLC + SCADA platform, operated from a central control room. Every blending, heating, dosing, filtration and filling operation is recipe-driven, sequence-controlled and logged.
Plant-wide SCADA
One redundant PLC + SCADA system supervises all five plants, the tank farm and utilities from a single control room.
Batch records & audit trail
Recipe-driven batch execution aligned to ISA-88, with electronic batch reports and a full audit trail for every lot.
Radar level on every tank
Non-contact radar sensors with high / low and independent overfill alarms on all storage and finished-goods tanks.
Gravimetric precision blending
Coriolis mass-flow meters and precision load cells deliver weight-accurate blending, batch after batch.
Safe by design
Flameproof (Ex 'd') equipment in classified zones, fire protection, earthing and lightning protection engineered in from day one.
Built to International Codes, Inspected Like an Export Plant
Every specification — from plate thickness to paint DFT — is documented at engineering level and open to partner audit at any stage of construction and operation.
The whole site runs on one controlled, in-house blended feedstock rather than bought-in single grades — giving partners batch-to-batch consistency that trading-style blenders cannot match.
Growth & Delivery
Built Fast, Built to Grow
Fast-Track Build: First Production in Under 11 Months
Indicative master schedule from order release and advance to first production; sequence firmed up at detailed engineering.
Modular, pre-engineered construction
Process modules, piping headers, platforms, MCC and SCADA are fabricated and tested off-site, then shipped as ready assemblies — site work becomes installation, not construction.
Projected Annual Manufacturing Volumes (MT / Year)
Production volume by product group, 2027–2036
All figures in MT per annum. Volumes are indicative and subject to confirmed offtake agreements.
A Ten-Year Manufacturing Roadmap
Cumulative production
Earmarked for partnership production over ten years.
Capacity growth
From ≈ 42,000 MT in FY27 to ≈ 186,000 MT/yr by FY36, funded by continuous reinvestment in new trains and tankage.
Added to the complex
Pharma-grade white oil from FY28, and dedicated rubber process oil trains (DAE & TDAE).
Volumes shown exclude domestic processing and third-party trade — this is dedicated partnered production.
We commit to upgrading this complex every few years — adding machinery, trains and storage in step with our partners' growth, so the plant is always one step ahead of demand.
Four Years Ready on Day One — Expanding From Year Two
Covered from day one
The Phase 1 complex as built is sized to absorb the partnership's start-up and ramp-up volumes for its first three to four years — partners never need to worry whether the plant is ready.
Expansion starts in Year 2 — not Year 4
Storage capacity, additional blenders, jacketed vessels and heating trains are added modularly from the second and third year onward, so installed capacity stays permanently ahead of your order book.
Capital-smart, not over-built
We deliberately do not sink capital today into machinery needed only in Year 10 — investment follows confirmed volumes, keeping the platform financially disciplined and healthy for the long term.
A storage game — and we hold the land
Ample reserved space on site means tankage is always the first thing we expand, keeping feedstock and finished-goods buffers ahead of production at every stage.
Illustrative capacity philosophy — actual expansion steps sized against confirmed partner volumes.
The ambition is simple: this complex becomes a manufacturing and export hub for the region — capacity always one step ahead of demand, never a constraint.
